Why holiday in Argentina?

Massive Argentina embraces environments ranging from rainforests through arid deserts and spectacular Andean mountains to barren Patagonia and the edge of the antarctic void.

The country hosts outstanding natural wonders such as Iguazu falls, Perito Moreno glacier and the Bariloche lake district along with many adrenalin activities to add to the thrill, though trekking from El Calafate to varied mountains and glaciers has to be the most popular physical activity.

Argentina has a shabby but still fairly chic and lively capital – Buenos Aires – populated mainly with south Europe folk, while music, dance, soccer, rugby and fine dining are available to all thanks to incredibly low prices.

On the downside, local culture though ebulliant is not exactly exotic compared to some South American cousins, urban traffic is of the frenzied, horn-abuse type while poverty is prevalent.

But, Argentina’s still well worth a visit, though make it a long one, perhaps including neighbouring Chile, as south Latin America is not easy to get to. Vayate!
