Each of these areas, which has been given the name Passenger Overflow Areas (POAs), has been constructed to provide fans with dedicated facilities so that they can finish their journey to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM.
At either of the POAs, passengers can relax in comfort and style while taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of a football-themed environment, sample some of the world's finest cuisine, and securely stow their bags.
Additionally, the more spacious of the two overflow areas at HIA features a virtual reality gaming zone, which is the first of its kind anywhere in the world. In addition, there are inflatable play areas for children, as well as enormous screens to watch football highlights on.
Cheb Khaled and superstar DJ Rodge's song "C.H.A.M.P.I.O.N.S." from the Qatar Airways FIFA World CupTM anthem, which has been released on the airline's official YouTube channel and will be played on flights landing in Qatar, was created to celebrate the opening.
