La Concha beach, San Sebastián, Spain

La Concha Beach central section at low tide, San Sebastian’s core attraction, ringed by the beautiful old promenade.

Why use La Concha beach?

One great asset of this beach is that the waters are considerably less chilly than most Atlantic beaches as the enclosed bay is wide and shallow and thus warms up perfectly under good sunshine. The lengthy crescent has full range of facilities and a brilliant promenade running along it’s whole length, though actually the west side of Concha bay is a pay-to-play stretch called Ondaretta beach.
