A well stoned beach, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cote d

A well stoned beach, but clean sea water, fresh water showers and portaloos strategically placed. Buy some beach bootees or toughen up!

A beach restaurant, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cote d

And obviously if no expense is to be spared restaurant beaches are the place to hang out and save the soles.

 Cagnes-sur-Mer street, Cote d

Like Villeneuve-Loubet Plage, Cagnes-sur-Mer’s interior is uninspiring, just a collection of dull apartment blocks, but it’s very close to Nice airport, on the useful coast road (that is frequently choked in summertime), near Cap 3000 shopping centre and has frequent music/firework festivals during the summertime along the shore road.

Beach activities centre, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cote d

. . . but beach freaks will be more interested in a good selection of marine activities.

A beach beside the Hippodrome, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cote d

Beaches between Villeneuve-Loubet and Cagnes-sur-Mer and beside the Hippodrome. Note the portaloo on the left, a dead giveaway that it’s Cagnes!
