Trekking: One of the must-dos for fit outdoor tourists in Nepal is to go hiking along trails around the Himalayas, with Tea House Treks being a popular way to hike on the cheap and have a colourful cultural experience at the same time. March-May and September-November are the best months for amazing views with least chance of precipitation while trekking in Nepal. Annapurna hikes are relatively easy and and Everest Base Camp more challenging.
Many tours to Tibet start out in Kathmandu so it may be worth looking at Tibet tours page too and get the little adjacent Himalayan countries out of your system once and for all! (Maybe even throw Bhutan into the package if you have a fat wallet)

Nepal Explorer – 15 days (activity-based)

Everest Base Camp – 18 days (hiking)

Chitwan National Park, and the less visited Bardia National Park are beautiful regions full of varied, colourful wildlife. The jungle & river landscapes are home to many birds and animals including the majestic Indian elephant, endangered one-horned rhino, and the ever-elusive Bengal tiger. Annapurna Sanctuary – 17 days (hiking)
