Highlights of China:
8 days. Experience Beijing's magnificent sights as well as its small traditional backstreets, then walk along the Great Wall at Mutianyu and visit the Ming Tombs before heading to Xi’an.
Here we visit the City Wall, the Wild Goose Pagoda, Banpo Museum, and of course the Army of Terracotta Warriors.
We then fly to Shanghai to see modern China's most extreme architecture as well as the fabulous Jade Buddha Temple, the Yu Gardens and the Bund Area, Shanghai’s most famous mile.
Mekong, Mystery and Kingdoms:
A kid-friendly 10 day 'Family Adventure' tour, of Vietnam and Cambodia takes you to the Cu Chi Tunnels and into the heart of the Mekong Delta, before crossing into Cambodia via a fascinating Mekong cruise.
In Cambodia we explore Phnom Penh, the royal temples and Khmer Rouge history.
In Siem Reap, we visit the famous Angkor temples of the ancient Cham civilisations, an elephant farm where we take an elephant ride, a cultural village where we see traditional Apsara dancing and a floating village. It is a fun filled journey for adults and children alike, with swimming pools, sampan rides, cruises, temples, cycling and an optional hot air balloon ride. A great opportunity to learn about ancient history and foreign cultures
Tigers, Temples and Taj Mahal:
A kid-friendly 10 day 'Family Adventure' tour of India.
This tour takes us to the palaces of Maharajas and from small villages to the bustling city of Delhi.
We visit the Taj Mahal, the tigers of Ranthambore, a camel breeding farm and wander around the forts of Junagarh and Mehrangah.
A mixture of local transport includes camels, bicycle rickshaws and jeeps.
We look for tigers and sloth bears in Ranthambore National Park and explore the pink city of Japiur with its City and Amber Palaces as well as ruined ghost city of the Mughal Dynasty, Fatehpur Sikri and Pushkar – home of the famous annual camel fair.

Active Thailand!:
An adventurous 16 day trip through some of the most remote and inspiring corners of Thailand - including Nan province in the far north and Umphang region on the Myanmar border. We camp in the jungle, ride elephants and white-water raft down untamed rivers. We also visit the most beautiful waterfall in South East Asia and stay with families in far-flung tribal villages. [Available for the 2008 season]
Thai Hill Tribe Adventure:
A 16 days tour. The isolated valleys of northern Thailand - a landscape of thick jungle, rivers and rice paddies - are inhabited by many different tribes, the descendants of those who travelled from as far away as Tibet and China. Our 2-day trek - which includes travelling on foot, by bamboo raft and even elephant-back, is a journey through another time. We also spend time in Thailand's colourful cities and on the tropical island of Koh Samet, swimming and snorkelling. [Available for the 2008 season]
Discover Nepal:
16 days. An excellent introduction to the joys of Nepal, providing an in-depth exploration of the Kathmandu and Pokhara valleys and enjoying the immense beauty of the Himalaya. Three days are spent at a jungle lodge in Chitwan National Park and we allow time for pleasant low-altitude walks around Pokhara.
Shogun Trail:
A 14 day tour of Japan. Nowhere do ancient traditions and rituals contrast so vividly with modern day living as in Japan. This tour affords the opportunity to visit the major highlights, such as Tokyo, cable car for views of magnificent Mount Fuji, descending to Lake Ashi, where a boat ride across the lake takes us to the Tokaido Trail. We have the opportunity to walk this ancient route, in the footsteps of the Shogun warriors. We spend 3 nights in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, where time is spent marvelling at some of the 2000 temples. One day is left free to travel further afield; perhaps to ancient Nara, Osaka or Himeji Castle.
But this tour goes beyond the regular tourist trail to uncover the unexpected charm and beauty of a rural area, Hirado, offering a real insight into this fascinating country.

Pyramids to Petra:
18 days from Egypt to Jordan. Myth, religion and wonder come together on this expedition across the timeless terrain of Egypt and Jordan. From the mysteries of the Pyramids and the Sphinx to the mysticism of Mt Sinai and the sublime stone structures of pink Petra, there are ancient sights galore. A ride on a felucca down the mighty Nile, a stay on an undiscovered stretch of Red Sea coast and a night with Bedouin locals amid the sand dunes of Wadi Rum are some of the highlights that make this journey across the sands of time truly memorable.
Cairo to Istanbul:
21 days. Climb Mt Sinai, snorkel in the Red Sea, explore the lost city of Petra, set out on a desert safari, play knights at Krak des Chevaliers, visit a Syrian bath house, discover ancient Damascus, experience the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, uncover hidden gems in the backstreets of Istanbul.
