Timbuktu and Dogon Trails:
A 16 day tour of Mali, once West Africa's greatest empire. We visit the medieval mud town - and especialy the amazing mosque of Djenne, then board our native boat for a 3-day cruise on the Niger River to Mopti. After a walk around the fabled oasis of Timbuktu we make a 4-day trek into the starnge Dogon country before returning to Bamako.
