Pharaohs & Deserts – 15 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Fayoum, Western Deserts. This tour combines Egypt's main historical sites and a felucca or luxury cruise in the Nile Valley, with two separate desert safaris. Around Fayoum we visit the Wadi Rayan protected area with its spring oasis and desert lake, and the World Heritage Site of the Valley of the Whales. In the Western Deserts, we visit the Baharya & Farafra oases and enjoy an overnight jeep safari in the spectacular White Desert.

Grand Egyptian Adventure – 15 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Red Sea (Dahab). Our most popular itinerary, this tour starts with visits to the Pyramids & Sphinx in Cairo before heading south. From Aswan, we take a peaceful felucca sailboat or luxury Nile cruise along the Nile to Luxor, where we explore temples & tombs on both banks of the river. The tour ends with time for you to relax at the beaches and cafes at Dahab, to snorkel or scuba-dive among the coral reefs of the Red Sea, and if you wish, to climb Mt. Sinai. A 9 or 10-day version of this tour is also available missing out the Red Sea section.

Temples, Tombs & Pyramids – 7 days
Cairo, Luxor. For those who are short of time this tour gives an excellent introduction to the many wonders of Egypt. From the stunning Pyramids at Gisa and the awe-inspiring temples of Luxor and Karnak to the sprawling bazaars and fascinating museums of Cairo this tour gives you the chance to experience Egypt at its best.

Egyptian Family Adventure – 13 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Red Sea (Hurghada). This specially-designed family adventure gives you and your children a taste of everything that Egypt has to offer. The Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo, and temples and tombs in Luxor provide the main sightseeing, and a short desert camel trek, overnight felucca trip on the Nile, and some time by the Red Sea balance these out to make a fun and educational holiday for the whole family.

Bedouin Trails [walking]:
9 days of Sinai hiking. This short walking tour takes us to the very heart of the Sinai, into a land full of astonishing variety - sandstone 'wadis' (valleys), granite mountains, fertile oases and vast sand dunes make the Sinai a place whose subtle beauty never fails to surprise. On foot, moving from camp to camp with our camel caravan, we learn about the Bedouin who inhabit these arid lands and begin to understand the mysterious allure of the desert.

Nile Cruise:
A classic 10 day journey with an Explore twist! We cruise the Nile Valley in our small, exclusive and informal riverboat, stopping en route to explore the antiquities of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. Plus, of course, we get under the skin of modern Egypt - a fascinating blend of old and new.

Into the Great Sand Sea [desert oasis excursion]:
A 9 day tourn to the mysterious oasis of Siwa, whose magnetic pull attracted both Cleopatra and Alexander the Great, into the vast dunes of the Great Sand Sea and beyond - one of the most awesomely inhospitable places on earth. We'll explore little known oases along Darb Siwa, the ancient caravan route connecting Siwa with the Nile Valley, and camp amongst the surreal rockforms of the White Desert. We finish in Luxor whose Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple have amazed visitors for centuries.

Egyptian Adventure [family holiday]:
14 days to explore Egypt's highlights including Cairo and the pyramids, then a sleeper train to Aswan for poolside relaxing and desert camel rides [possibly a trip to Abu Simbel] before boarding a felucca for two days sailing to Luxor, camping one night. Luxor means glorious temples, donkeys and horse carts, followed by a trip to the Red Sea for beaches and snorkelling. Egyptian Family holiday for teens and for toddlers are also available.
