Morocco Trekking:
We can arrange treks for one, two, three, or more days depending upon your group's travel plans. Get out and explore Morocco's less-touched regions in the mountains and valleys only a short drive from Marrakesh.

Morocco Family Adventures:
This all-inclusive 13 day trip takes you off the beaten path for a family Moroccan adventure. Starting in Marrakesh, we ride camels into the Sahara Desert and attend a surf camp (!) that is always a hit with the kids.
This tour is best done from late March through October, but can be adapted to fit the days your family has available and the time of year you will be visiting. In the hottest part of the summer, we adapt the itinerary for the High Atlas Mountains instead of the Africa's biggest desert, the Sahara.

Pharaohs & Deserts – 15 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Fayoum, Western Deserts. This tour combines Ancient Egypt's main historical sites and a felucca or luxury cruise in the Nile Valley, with two separate desert safaris. Around Fayum we visit the Wadi Rayan protected area with its spring oasis and desert lake, and the World Heritage Site of the Valley of the Whales. In the Western Deserts, we visit the Baharya and Farafra oases and enjoy an overnight jeep safari in the spectacular White Desert.

Egyptian Family Adventure – 13 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Red Sea (Hurghada). This specially-designed family adventure gives you and your kids a taste ofthe best of Egypt tourism. The Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo, and temples and tombs in Luxor are the main attractions, as well as a short desert camel trek, overnight felucca trip on the Nile, and some time by the Red Sea balance these out to make a fun and educational holiday for the whole family.

Nile Felucca Overnight Cruise:
Several of our tours feature a  1 or 2-night felucca cruise on the Nile from Aswan downstream towards Komombo.
Feluccas are very basic traditional Nile sailboats and make for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable way to travel down the river. The deck of the boat is covered in soft mattresses and cushions and has a canopy that offers shade from the sun.
You spend the day relaxing on board the felucca while it slowly sails down the Nile and in the evening the boat will moor along the banks of the Nile where you will sleep under the stars.
The Nubian boat crew will look after you, prepare your meals, and entertain you in the evenings, leaving you with many happy memories of your time on the Nile.

Grand Egyptian Adventure – 15 days
Cairo, Aswan (felucca or luxury cruise) Luxor, Red Sea (Dahab). Our most popular itinerary, this tour starts with visits to the Pyramids & Sphinx in Cairo before heading south. From Aswan, we take a peaceful felucca sailboat or luxury Nile cruise along the Nile to Luxor, where we explore temples & tombs on both banks of the river. The tour ends with time for you to relax at the beaches and cafes at Dahab, to snorkel or scuba-dive among the coral reefs of the Red Sea, and if you wish, to climb Mt. Sinai. A 9 or 10-day version of this tour is also available missing out the Red Sea section.

Desert Safaris (Egypt and Jordan):
The deserts of Egypt and Jordan are amongst the most spectacular in the world. From vast sand seas to weird moonscapes, from prehistoric rock art to colourful Bedouin campsites, these unique environments make an ideal destination for the more adventurous of traveller. Although accommodation is often more basic than on most of our other tours, what could be more memorable than a night spent under the beautiful star-studded desert sky. All transfers and guides are included during your tour.

Temples, Tombs & Pyramids – 7 days
Cairo, Luxor. For those who are short of time this tour gives an excellent introduction to the many wonders of Egypt. From the stunning Pyramids at Giza and the awe-inspiring temples of Luxor and Karnak to the sprawling bazaars and fascinating museums of Cairo this tour gives you the chance to experience Egypt at its best.

Scuba Diving in Egypt (Red Sea, Dahab):
Extremely crystal clear warm waters and, miles of spectacular fringing coral reefs, internal lagoons and navigable channels provide incredibly diverse habitats for over 1000 species of fish. Spectacular coral reefs, dizzyingly sheer drop-offs, underwater caverns and overhangs qualify Egypt as a world class dive destination for divers of all levels.

East African Odyssey

Highlights: Victoria Falls, South Luangwa National Park, Lake Malawi, Diving & Snorkelling, Zanzibar, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater.

This amazing 3-week wildlife odyssey tour takes you through the heart of East Africa, from Vic Falls all the way to Nairobi. It takes in all the major sites en route, including South Luangwa National Park, Lake Malawi, Zanzibar and the Serengeti.

Starting in Victoria Falls you'll head east to Zambia's finest game reserve, the South Luangwa National Park, which is notable for its large population for Leopards.
Heading east we cross into Malawi to visit vast Lake Malawi, third largest lake in Africa and eighth largest in the world.
Heading north we travel through Tanzania stopping off for a visit on the beautiful spice island of Zanzibar, best known for its amazing beaches and spice tours.
Continuing north our next stop is the world famous Serengeti National Park, scene of one of the greatest animal migrations in the world (in the summer season only!) when millions of wildebeest make their annual crossing of the vast grassy plains.
We pay a visit to the Ngorongoro crater, a true wildlife phenomenon, before continuing north into Kenya and our tour end in Nairobi.

 

Classic Kilimanjaro Trek

Experience stunning panoramic views on one of the world’s most renowned treks when you join us on this stunning climb of Africa's tallest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro.

This trek takes you on the popular Marangu route, which uses comfortable trekking lodges for the overnight accommodation. You'll be climbing for six hard and breathless days to reach the summit so you better be fit. We recommend you do plenty of training before undertaking this challenge, but when you reach the summit the spectacular views out across the African landscape will make all the hard work and pain worthwhile.

Namibia & Botswana Uncovered

Highlights: Swakopmund, Himba Tribe, Bushmen, Etosha National Park, Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls.

This two week Namibia & Botswana tour offers the perfect introduction to these fscinating and culturally unique countries. It’s the perfect mix of culture, wildlife, active adventure and fun nightlife.

Starting in Swakopmund the adventure capital on Namibia, where you can enjoy many fun options such as skydiving, sand boarding and quad biking. From here we head inland to visit the Himba people, semi-nomadic bushmen, easily recognisable by the distinctive red colour of their skin and hair. We continue on to the Etosha National Park, which boast an amazing abundance of wildlife making it one of Southern Africa's finest and most important game reserves. We spend plenty of time wildlife viewing before moving onto Namibia’s capital city Windhoek. After a short tour of the city we wave goodbye to Namibia and cross the border into Botswana.

Our first stop is at Ghanzi for a cultural evening of tribal song and dance from the San community. We then spend the next three days exploring the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is the world’s largest inland delta, a labyrinth of lagoons, lakes and hidden channels covering 17 000 square km. We have plenty of time to explore this unique inland delta with nature walks and boat cruises. We finish our tour with a visit to Bostwana’s second largest wildlife reserve, the Chobe National Park, before crossing the border into Zimbabwe and our final destination the one and only Victoria Falls, crossroads of Africa.

 

Hidden Treasures (Sudan)

Highlights: Capital city Khartoum, old souk of Omdurman, Meroe Pyramids, El Damer, Nubian homestay in Karima, desert town of Kerma.

This 9 day adventure through Sudan takes us to some incredible ancient sites. We start with an in-depth visit of the capital city of Khartoum, exploring museums, tombs and markets. We then cross the Nubian Desert in search of lost pyramids and temples of the Nile Valley such as the Meroe Pyramids (photo above), the most concentrated pyramid complex in the Nile valley. We experience a true desert camp with private verandahs overlooking the pyramids. We then visit Karima for more pyramids and temples before driving back to Khartoum for free time to wander before returning home.

The Garden Route (South Africa)

Highlights: Cape Town, Karoo, Cango Caves, Garden Route, Addo Elephant National Park, Drakensberg, Wild Coast, Zulu Nation.

Traversing the South African coast from Cape Town to Durban, this two week tour takes you along the famous Garden Route stopping at some of the most spectacular tourist attractions that this wonderful country has to offer.

After enjoying the sights, sounds and foods of Cape Town we head along the Garden Route to Stellenbosch, famous for its world class wines and historic grandeur. We’ll also visit the Cheetah Breeding Centre to experience these animals up close. From here we make our way through the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains to the seaside town of Knysna, stopping on route to visit the impressive limestone Cango caves and an ostrich farm.

Our next stop is the Tsitsikamma National Park, where you can enjoy jungle walks, treetop canopy tours, blackwater tubing and the highest Bungee jump in the world. Continuing east we take a game drive in the Addo Elephant National Park, which is home to many of Africa’s big game. Heading north we enter the mountain kingdom of Lesotho, one of the highest countries in the world, with the entire country being over 1,000m above sea level. There is plenty of time to do some trekking in the mountains and to explore the unique culture of this tiny country.

The next stop is the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park with some of the most exceptional mountain scenery in Africa. Our final destination and tour end is the lively city and massive beaches of Durban.

 

Moroccan Mosaics

Highlights: Djemaa El Fna in Marrakech, Zagora, Atlas Mountains, dramatic landscapes of Ouarzazate, Berber camp at Merzouga.

This 9-day trip starts with a full day tour of the magical city of Marrakesh, we visit mosques, minarets, the souk and the famously colourful Djemaa El Fna square. The next day we travel through Berber villages and over the highest mountain pass in Africa, visiting the UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou before reaching Ouarzazate. Next is the town of Tinghir, hiking the Dades Canyon and Todra Gorge. After that comes a 4WD desert drive near Merzouga and a night in the desert at a comfortable Berber camp. Finally we come out of the desert at Zagora before returning via Ouarzazate to Marrakech. Accommodation is in 4-star hotels, plus the desert camp.
