Serengetti, Tanzania. A monster of a safari park with a huge diversity of animals.
Best in June/July at wildebeest and
zebra migration. Good also August-October and December -
February. Avoid March-May [rains].
However, Ngorongoro Crater is better than Serengetti if
you're not on a migration tour. Best July-Oct. Worst March-May. Also Selous Game Reserve in South Tanzania is worth checking if you would prefer walking

Big
for game, deserts, and dunes: Etosha National Park, Namibia. Etosha is home to grunting masses of animals of all sorts with three fortified tourist camps in the middle of this rampant wildlife.
In addition the Skeleton Coast offers the ultimate in bleakness, a close-up colony of 100,000 seals and the massive pink sand
