Eating in New York - apart from getting a table at the very best restaurants - is a snap. Even tiny takeaway stores and diners offer a huge selection of high quality foods cooked in different ways at good prices. New Yorkers are demanding and will not tolerate mediocre cuisine.
The biggest problem is ordering/buying dishes/sandwiches and finding they're big enough to feed both yourself and a small African township. Try sharing with a mate or doggie bagging the food for next time.
