The Saturday night Burning Man Festival started with choreographed fire spinning...
...before the Man was torched...
...and the dust devils danced as the Man toppled after about 15 minutes.
The Temple Burn was an altogether more sombre occasion with many watchers saying goodbye to family members or lovers. In truth, for those without the sentimental connection to the Temple there was little point in hanging around the extra day for the less impressive burn.
