...while others mostly played it for laughs and free weenies. This one, Hell is a Place in the Mind of the Believer, was by Benjamin Pinkowitz - we think.
This gorgeous and apparently low-tech installation of spinning plastic bottles inlaid with mirror tiles, on closer inspection proved to have double, opposing magnets set into all bottle necks, thus creating a friction-free magnetic field on which the bottles were revolving.
Enjoyment was interrupted and cameras, noses and eyes equally stuffed up by the occasional and sudden onset of alkali dust storms. Masks and goggles or a strong constitution are as essential as bicycles at the Burn.
