with all that biblical advice on righteous living on their minds
where do the Roman cognoscenti go for an evening out
in their Smart cars and scooters?
They
head for the east bank of Rome's Tiber river, to Trastevere for a stroll and a few drinks with their friends or lovers...
...though
they might grab a pizza or pasta too. This is a pizza base under
preparation. However, while pizz and pazz are superb in this
country, good alternatives at a reasonable price are rare.
Alright,
we admit it, you can actually go to church in Trastevere in
the evening too, though it tends not to be top of the hit list
on a party night. This is Santa Maria in Trastevere.
