Notes on biking the Tibet-Nepal Friendship Highway: it's over 700 kms [440 miles] at around 4,200m altitude, with many hazards, not least kids throwing stones, dogs going for the pumping legs, avalanches, ultra-rocky sections, serious wind - and it will take around three weeks.
