...and why do cranes do the bugaloo?.

1] Flamigoes are naturally white but turn pink due to their diet, which is heavy in tiny pink shellfish.
2] Just like clubbers, cranes dress up, posture, preen, strut, jump and dance - to attract a mate and have a wild, animal affair.
3] Baboons near Lake Bogoria in Kenya have taken to eating flamingoes that die near the shore. This high keratin diet is changing their fur colour from grey to brown.
