1]
Not fruit but the precarious nests of weaver birds.
2] It's trying to eat a Canon EOS 5. Giraffes eat by curling their tongues
around something and pulling. This nosy beast took a fancy to the camera,
but might have had some difficulty digesting it.
3] Little known fact by groundlings! They're not at all quiet! Hot-air
balloons are, in fact, incredibly noisy when you're in the basket, due
to the huge propane burner just overhead that gets fired up by the pilot
every 10 seconds or so, depending on the number of passengers. Hot too,
which is why balloon pilots usually wear hats.
