The lovely manicured sand of Surin bay is between Kamala and Bang
Tao bays and hosts the most expensive hotel in Phuket, the Amanpuri,
with rooms starting at $500 a night, though a couple of cheap places
lurk just 100m behind the beach. This bay is good for day trips as
the cafés pictured offer a pleasant environment and variety
of comestibles, the sand and water are perfect, and the views gorgeous.
